Your trust matters. This policy describes the information Lexfold collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Lexfold, Inc. (“Lexfold”, “we”, “us”) provides a platform for publishing and hosting legal pages — privacy policies, terms of service, and cookie notices — on your own domain. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you visit lexfold.com or use the product.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign up (including via Google or GitHub).
Content you create: the documents, branding, domains, and settings you add to your workspace. You control this content and can edit or delete it at any time.
Usage data: aggregate analytics about how your published pages are viewed (page views, referrers, approximate region) and basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Cookies: essential cookies for sign-in sessions and security. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve the service; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to deliver your published pages quickly over a global CDN; and to communicate with you about your account and service changes.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing & sub-processors
We share data only with infrastructure providers that help us run the service (for example, cloud hosting, database, and email delivery), under agreements that require them to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your workspace is active. When you delete content or close your account, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Security
We protect data in transit with TLS and apply access controls, row-level isolation between workspaces, and routine backups. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@lexfold.com.
8. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you.
